Enabling Multi-Stream Synthetic Full Backups for Oracle and Oracle RAC

To enable multistream synthetic full backups for Oracle and Oracle RAC, you must add additional settings.

Procedure

1. To the CommServe computer, add the JMEnableMultistreamBlocklevelSynthfull additional setting as shown in the following table.

3. To the MediaAgents that control the storage library for the primary copy, add the ENABLE_BL_EXTENT_VALIDATION additional setting as shown in the following table.
