How to uninstall the CSLiveSync Client when CommServeDR storage policy is used for replication?

If you want to uninstall the CSLiveSync client (SQL iDA and CSLiveSync), you should disable the WORM copy on the CommServeDR storage policy.

Procedure

1. Disable compliance lock by performing the following steps:

   1. Request an authorization Code to disable compliance lock (WORM copy).

   2. From the auth code approved email notification, download the DisableWORM.xml file and save it on the computer where the command is run.

   3. Log on to the CommServe using the qlogin command.

   4. Run the following command:

      qoperation execute -af "<xml_file_location\DisableWORM.xml>" -passphrase "<passphrase>"  
      

      Where <passphrase> is the same passphrase used in the authcode request form.

2. From the CommCell Browser, go to Policies > Storage Policies > CommServeDR.

3. Right-click the primary copy, and then click Properties.

   The Storage Policy Copy Properties of Primary dialog box appears.

4. On the General tab, clear the Compliance Lock check box.

5. Click OK.

6. Uninstall the CSLiveSync client.
