You can prune stubs from the source disk based on certain criteria.
Procedure

From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers > client > File System > archive_set.

Right-click the archiving_subclient, and then click Properties.
The Subclient Properties dialog box appears.

On the Archiving Rules tab, click the Advanced tab.

Select the Prune Stubs check box. Choose how the stubs become eligible for pruning based on your requirement:

To prune the stubs that were not accessed in the last specified number of days, in the File access time older than n years n months n days box, enter the number of days.

To prune the stubs that were not modified in the last specified number of days, in the File modified time older than n years n months n days box, enter the number of days.

To prune the stubs that were created before the last specified number of days, in the File created time older than n years n months n days, enter the number of days.
