You can restore an archive that is in the Native format, or the Apache Parquet format to a database.
You can restore to any of the following destination servers:

The archive database
-
The production database
-
A new database
You must configure the staging database in the CommCell Console.
Note: If the archive database already contains the selected data, the software imports the data directly from the archive database and does not involve the backup media.
When you restore archived data, you must provide the Connect details for the destination (staging) database. The destination (staging) database user has the same privileges as the archive database user.
