You can monitor the health of a CommCell environment using Amazon Alexa.
Before You Begin

The CommCell that you want to monitor must be registered on the Commvault Cloud, and its health data must be regularly uploaded to the Commvault Cloud.

Enable the Cloud Assist feature.

Download the Amazon Alexa app on a smartphone or tablet, and then log in using an Amazon account.
Procedure

Open the Alexa app on your smartphone or tablet.

Search for the Commvault skill.
The Commvault Skill screen appears.

Click or tap the Enable button to enable the Commvault Skill.
The Commvault Skill login screen appears.

Enter your Commvault Cloud username and password, and then click or tap Login.
An authorization screen appears.

From the Preferred CommCell list, select the CommCell environment that you want to monitor.

Click or tap the Authorize button.
The Commvault Skill is enabled for the CommCell environment that you selected.

Optional: Link additional smartphones, tablets, or standalone devices (for example, Amazon Echo) to your Amazon account.

Using a smartphone, tablet, or standalone device, ask a question or issue a command by saying, "Alexa. Ask Commvault [COMMAND or QUESTION]".

Alexa responds to your question or command verbally and/or on the device's screen. It might also ask if you want details sent to your Commvault Cloud email account.
