Block-level backups of the Microsoft SQL databases is deprecated. Existing subclients which were configured to run block level backups with Optimize for table-level restore option enabled will continue to function as before.

Starting with SP42, new configurations can use Volume Copy block-level backups by default. The Optimize for table-level restore option will be deprecated. See, Enabling Volume Copy Block-Level Backups for SQL Databases from the Command Center.
