Commvault supports long-term support and innovation releases of the Commvault software.
Important
In alignment with NIST SP 800-40 Rev. 4 guidance for timely patch and vulnerability management, Commvault recommends upgrading to the latest maintenance release within 2 weeks of its release.
This recommendation applies to all releases, release types, and release tracks.
Supported Releases
Critical updates are provided for all supported releases. Non-critical updates might not be provided for older supported releases.
When a release reaches end-of-life, to receive support, customers must upgrade to the latest LTS release.

For customers on 11.42 or older releases, we recommend transitioning to Long-term support release 11.44 to take advantage of the latest platform enhancements.
