Exporting Gmail Data

You can export Gmail data from the Command Center.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Google Workspace.

2. On the Apps tab, click the Gmail app.

3. Click Restore.

4. Select the items to export, and then click Export.

5. In the Export Name box, enter a name for the export.

6. From Export type, select one of the following formats:

   • CAB: Exports the data as a cabinet file.

   • MBOX: Exports the data as a mailbox file.

7. From File format, select EML.

8. Optional: Under Advanced options, select Retain folder hierarchy to preserve the folder structure in the export.

9. Click Export.
