Install the Commvault OIN Application on Okta Console

Install the OIN application to connect your Okta organization with Commvault for backups and restores.

Install the Commvault OIN Application

1. Log in to the Okta Admin Console.

2. Go to Applications > Applications.

3. Click Browse App Catalog.

4. Search for Commvault.

5. Click Add Integration.

6. Click Install & Authorize.

7. To copy the client secret, click Copy to clipboard.

8. Click Done.

Retrieve Okta Application Credentials

1. Go to Applications > API Service Integrations.

2. Select Commvault.

3. Copy the following values:

   • Client ID

   • Okta Domain

Use this information to create a credential while configuring Okta backups in Commvault software.
