Perform a Test Backup and Restore of the Azure Cosmos DB for Table Instance

To verify that the Azure Cosmos DB for Table instance is set up correctly, perform a test backup and restore.

Back Up the Instance

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.

   The database overview page appears.

2. On the Instances tab, in the row for the instance, click the action button , and then click Backup.

   The Backup options dialog box appears.

3. Click SUBMIT.

Restore the Instance

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.

   The database overview page appears.

2. On the Instances tab, in the row for the instance, click the action button , and then click Restore.

   The Backup content dialog box appears.

3. Select the backup, and then click RESTORE.

   The Restore options dialog box appears.

4. Click SUBMIT.
