You can restore groups of users by AD Group in OneDrive for Business to the location the users were backed up from. Only the backed up users that are a part of the AD group will be restored.
Procedure

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Microsoft 365.
The Microsoft 365 Overview page appears.

On the Apps tab, click the app.
The Overview page of the app appears.

Click on Restore on the upper-right area of the page.
The available Restore options tool appears.

To restore groups of users, select Restore users by AD Group, and then click Next.
All AD groups appear in a list.

From the list, select the backed up groups you want to restore and then click Next.
You can use the Search bar to filter and find the AD group you want to restore.

On the Destination tab, leave OneDrive for Business selected, leave Restore the data to its original location selected, and then click Next.
The Options tab appears.

Beside If the file exists, specify which items to include in the restore:

To not overwrite existing items, select Skip.

To restore as a copy, select Restore as a copy.

To overwrite existing items, select Unconditionally overwrite.

To skip file permissions, select Skip file permissions.

To include deleted items, select Include deleted items.

To match the destination user by their email address, select Match destination user based on the email address.
By default, the user is matched using the user GUID.

Specify additional details for the restore, and then click Next:
The Review tab appears.

Review the items you selected for restore, and then click Submit to start the restore operation.
The Summary tab appears.

Click Close.
