Support and Usage of AWS Resource Tags for Amazon DocumentDB Protection

For backups of Amazon DocumentDB, the Commvault software creates intermediate resources, such as snapshots and volumes, to read data from the source volumes. These intermediate resources inherit all the tags that are associated with the source volumes. When you restore Amazon DocumentDB databases from snapshots, Commvault restores all tags that are associated with the source snapshot created by Commvault.

Commvault supports the use of AWS tag policies. Tag policies in your environment must not prevent Commvault from adding tags.
