After you add a BigCommerce configuration, you can modify its settings to change the backup plan, update credentials, exclude the instance from SLA, configure a new subclient, or deconfigure the instance.
Go to the BigCommerce configuration
- From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > SaaS applications.
- Locate the BigCommerce store you want to modify in the list.
- Click the store name to open the configuration details.
Configure instance-specific settings
These settings are used in specific scenarios and are not required for most environments.
Update store hash or API access token
If your BigCommerce store hash changes or you need to rotate the API access token:
- On the Overview tab, click Edit next to Credentials.
- Update the Store Hash or API Access Token fields.
- Click Save.
Note
If you rotate the API access token in BigCommerce, update the token in Commvault immediately to avoid backup failures.
Change the backup plan
To assign a different backup plan to the BigCommerce store:
- On the Overview tab, click Edit next to Backup plan.
- Select a different backup plan from the list, or create a new one.
- Click Save.
The new backup plan applies to the next scheduled backup or the next manual backup.
Exclude from SLA calculations
To exclude this BigCommerce store from SLA reporting:
- On the Overview tab, locate the SLA section.
- Select Exclude from SLA calculations.
- Click Save.
Manage subclients
To create or modify subclients for this BigCommerce store:
- Click the Subclients tab.
- To create a new subclient, click Add subclient.
- To modify an existing subclient, see Modify settings for a BigCommerce subclient.
Deconfigure the instance
To remove the BigCommerce store from Commvault protection:
- On the Overview tab, click Deconfigure.
- Confirm the deconfiguration.

Save changes
- Review your changes.
- Click Save.
Changes to credentials and backup plans take effect immediately. The next backup uses the updated settings.
