Modify settings for a HubSpot subclient

After you add a HubSpot subclient, you can modify its settings to change the backup plan, change the SLA, and modify the backup content.

Go to the subclient

  1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to ProtectSaaS Applications.
  2. Click the HubSpot configuration.
  3. On the Subclients tab, click the subclient.

Configure subclient-specific settings

Use these settings to control how HubSpot backups run for the subclient.

Backup plan

Select a different backup plan after you configure backups for HubSpot. The new plan takes effect for the next scheduled backup.

Exclude application from SLA calculations

Select this option to exclude this subclient from SLA reporting. Use this for test or sandbox subclients that do not require SLA compliance.

Content

HubSpot backup content is scoped at the portal level. The browse tree displays the nine HubSpot product hubs (CRM, Marketing, Content, Sales, Commerce, Service, Automation, Data Management, Reporting). You can select individual hubs to back up, or select all hubs by choosing the root node.

Commvault does not support per-object-type content scoping for HubSpot. Selecting a hub includes all object types within that hub. If you need to protect only a subset of your HubSpot data, configure separate HubSpot portals for different environments or business units and protect each portal as a separate instance.

To modify the backup content:

  1. Click the pencil (edit) icon next to Content.
  2. In the browse tree, select or deselect hubs as needed.
  3. Click Save.
