Requirements for Commvault Plug-In for vSphere Client (HTML5 Version)

Verify that the environment where the plug-in is deployed has the required components.

  • vCenter on Windows or Linux

  • HTML5 Client for vSphere 6.5.x, vSphere 6.7.x, or vSphere 7.0 (including all minor updates)

  • Commvault Command Center with the vCenter server configured

You can use the Commvault plug-in with the following browsers:

Note

  • Because of a change introduced by Google in Chrome 84 logging on to Commvault from vSphere fails when you use Chrome 84 or 85.

  • You can also use the Commvault plug-in with Microsoft Edge, although VMware does not recommend the use of Edge in vSphere.
