Add the Storage Array for Nutanix Files Exported to CIFS

Add the Nutanix Files storage array.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Infrastructure.

2. The Infrastructure page appears.

3. Click the Arrays tile.

   The Arrays page appears.

4. In the upper-right area of the page, click Add.

   The Add arrays page appears.

5. On the General tab, do the following:

   1. From the Snap vendor list, select Nutanix.

   2. In the Array name box, enter the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the file server.

      Note

      • Do not enter the IP address of the array.

      • Do not enter the Nutanix cluster name.

      • The array name is case-sensitive.

   3. In the Username and Password boxes, enter the credentials for a REST API access user account on the local Nutanix cluster.

   4. Click Next.

6. On the Array access nodes tab, from the Available MediaAgents list, select an array access node, and then click Next.

7. On the Snap configurations tab, review the settings.

8. Click Save.
