Adding a MediaAgent to an Existing Cloud Storage

You can add a new MediaAgent to control the cloud storage library. You can add more MediaAgents for restore purposes. In a Cloud Storage setup, you can add a MediaAgent from a geographically different area than the one from which the backup is run, and restore the data to that MediaAgent.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, click Storage > Cloud.

   The Cloud page appears.

2. Click the required cloud storage.

   The cloud storage page appears.

3. Click the Backup locations tab.

4. On the Container or Bucket section, click the required MediaAgent container or bucket link.

5. Click Add mediaagent.

   The Add MediaAgent screen appears.

6. From the MediaAgent list, select the MediaAgent that you want to share to the cloud library.

7. Click Save.
