Backing Up Nutanix Files Exported to NFS On Demand

You can perform a full, incremental, or synthetic full backup of the NFS exports.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > File servers.

   The File servers page appears.

2. Click the file server.

   The file server page appears.

3. Under Protocols, click NFS.

   The NFS page appears.

4. Under Subclients, in the row for the subclient that you want to back up, click the action button , and then click Back up.

   The Select backup level dialog box appears.

5. For Backup level, select the backup type.

6. For IntelliSnap backups, to create a backup copy immediately, select the Create backup copy immediately check box.

   Caution

   After you enable IntelliSnap, you cannot run synthetic full backups.

7. Click OK.
