Complete the Guided Setup for GlusterFS

The file servers guided setup guides you through creating a server backup plan and adding the GlusterFS server.

Go to the File Servers Guided Setup

1. From the navigation pane, go to Guided setup.

   The Welcome page appears.

2. On the Protect tab, click the File server tile.

   The File server setup page appears.

   If you already completed the guided setup, the File servers page appears.

Add the GlusterFS Server

When you add a file server, a backup set, and a default subclient are automatically created.

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > File servers.

   The File servers page appears.

2. In the upper-right area of the page, click Add server.

   The Add server dialog box appears.

3. Click the GlusterFS tile.

   The Add GlusterFS dialog box appears.

4. From the Access node list, select the access node to use for the server.

5. From the Plan list, select the server plan.

   The plan defines the storage for the backup data, the RPO (recovery point objective), and the data retention period.

6. Click Edit to modify the backup content.

   By default, the entire GlusterFS file system is backed up.

7. Click Save.
