Deconfiguring an Oracle Database Instance

You can deactivate an instance of the database by deconfiguring the instance. Deactivating an instance releases a license. After an instance is deconfigured, you can reconfigure it.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.

    The Instances page appears.

  2. Click the instance.

    The instance page appears.

  3. In the upper-right area of the page, click the action button action_button, and then click Deconfigure.

    The Confirm deconfiguration dialog box appears.

  4. Click Yes.
