Enabling File Indexing for Virtual Machines at the VM Group Level

You can enable file indexing for a hypervisor at the VM group level.

Note

Only MSP admins, and not tenant admins, can enable file indexing for supported hypervisors at the VM group level.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Virtualization.

    The Virtual machines page appears.

  2. Click the VM groups tab.

  3. On the VM groups tab, click a VM group, and then click the Configuration tab.

  4. In the Options area, move the Index files after backup toggle key to the right.
