Restores for Nutanix Files Exported to CIFS

You can restore Nutanix Files CIFS subclients to the original location (in place) or to a different location (out of place).

You can restore data from the primary snapshot copy, primary copy, or a secondary copy associated with the server plan.

For restore operations from streaming backups, data is restored from the primary copy that is defined for the server plan or from a secondary copy.
For restore operations from IntelliSnap backups, by default, data is restored from the snapshot copy by using a live browse operation until a backup copy job is run.

After the backup copy job completes, data is restored from the primary copy by default.
