Restoring an NFS Subclient of a Qumulo File Server

You can restore an NFS subclient of a Qumulo file server to a standalone file server.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > File servers.

    The File servers page appears.

  2. Click the file server.

    The file server page appears.

  3. Under Agents, click NFS.

    The agent properties page appears.

  4. Under Subclients, in the row for the subclient, click the action button action_button, and then click Restore.

    The Backup Content page appears.

  5. Select the content that you want to restore, and then click Restore.

The Restore options dialog box appears.

    Note

Starting Qumulo Cluster version 4.3.0, mounting .snapshot is not supported using NFS v4. Therefore, NFS v4 ACLs might not be restored.

  6. From the Destination client list, select the computer to restore the data to.

  7. If the destination client does not have access to the UNC path in the Destination Path box, then move the Impersonate user toggle key to the right, and then enter the user name and password required to access the UNC path.

  8. Click Submit.
