Set Active Directory Permissions for Case Manager

Assign the correct permissions to the Active Directory server that is used with Case Manager. After the permissions are set, the Case Manager user will see custodian names automatically suggested as names are typed.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the CommCell Console.

  2. From the CommCell Browser, go to Security > CommCell User.

  3. Right-click the Case Manager user, and then click Properties.

    The User Properties dialog box is displayed.

  4. On the Associated Entities tab, click Add.

    The Add Association dialog box is displayed.

  5. Under Entities, select the Active Directory server (identity server).

  6. Under Role, in the Please select Role box, select the Case Manager User role.

  7. Click OK.
