Controlling On-Demand Backups with Command Center

Once an on-demand backup job is running, you can pause, resume, or kill the backup job.

Procedure

  1. Perform an on-demand backup.

  2. Once the backup job is running, from the Backup section, select the operation that you want to perform:

    • To pause a backup job click Controlling On-Demand Backups with Command Center (1).

      • You can elect the time interval from the list of preset time for the backup job to be paused.

      • You can select Custom, and manually enter the time.

      The backup operation enters a suspended state. and will either resume automatically after the specified time, or needs to be resumed manually if it was paused indefinitely.

    • To manually resume the backup job at any time, click Controlling On-Demand Backups with Command Center (2).

    • To terminate the backup job, click Controlling On-Demand Backups with Command Center (3).
