Deduplication Database Growth Management

You can manage the deduplication database growth by using either a qscript or the DDBCompact tool.

• Using the DDBParam qscript

  This method limits the size for the secondary files in the DDB for faster space reclamation on the DDB disk.

• Using the DDBcompact tool

  This method compacts the data files available in the DDB and prevents the disk drives of the DDB from running out of disk space.
