If you created a standby database by using the DB2 db2inidb command and the database is in a rollforward pending state and you have not applied logs, you must set the sSTANDBYBKUP additional setting to Y so that you can take an offline backup of the standby database.
Note
The backups initiated with sSTANDBYBKUP additional setting does not support browse and granular restores from the Commvault interface. The restore capability will be limited to database restores using command line interface. For more information, see restore using command line interface.

To the DB2 client, add the sSTANDBYBKUP additional setting as shown in the following table.
