You can enable cross-region snapshot copy operations for an Amazon Redshift cluster group.
Before You Begin
-
To specify the permissions to Amazon Web Services (AWS) resources that Commvault requires to perform cross-region copies of Redshift snapshots, download the amazon_redshift_backup_restore_permissions.json file and use it on the AWS command line.
-
To enable the mappings for the plan, create a server plan that is assigned to the cluster group, specifying the addition of a vault/replica snapshot copy to the plan. Specify Amazon as the vendor for the snapshot mappings. For more information about adding a snapshot copy, see Adding a Snapshot Copy to a Plan.
