Hiding User Settings on the Command Center

As an MSP administrator, you might want to hide specific user settings on the Command Center for tenant users and CommCell users. For example, you might not want tenant users to contact Commvault support before leveraging MSP-provided support resources.

You can hide or display the following user settings on the Command Center for all tenant administrators and users, or for the entire CommCell user group:

  • Language

  • User preferences

  • License

  • Accessibility

  • About

  • Help

  • Feedback

  • Customer support

  • Change password

  • Logout

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Customization.

    The Customization page appears.

  2. Click Top menu settings.

The Top menu settings page appears.

    Tip

By default, all settings are selected to appear on the Command Center.

  3. In the Hide Settings table, remove the selection for the settings that you want to disable under the CommCell or Company columns.

For example, to hide the language settings for a tenant user, remove the selection for Language in the Company column. If you want to hide the language settings for all users in the CommCell environment, then remove the selection for Language in the CommCell column.

Results

The Language user setting is hidden in the top right menu, in the Command Center, for all tenant users. Alternatively, if you had selected to hide the language settings for all users in the CommCell environment, then the Language settings is hidden for all users in the CommCell environment.
