Project Dashboard

The project dashboard shows general information regarding the objects in a project. To access the dashboard, open a project.

What You Can Do

You can perform the following actions on the dashboard:

Steps

Download tiles as .png files.

In the upper right of the tile, click the down arrow, and then click Download chart.

View the tile in full screen mode.

In the upper right of the tile, click the full screen button fullscreen view icon.

To exit full screen mode, in the upper right of the page, click Exit full screen.

Filter the data in the charts by a subset of data.

Click on one of the bars in a chart to drill down and update the charts based on the selected subset of data.

Zoom in and out of a map.

In the lower left of the tile, click the plus + and minus - on the zoom controls.

Information

The dashboard contains the following information:

  • Data Sources

    The total number of data sources configured on the project.

  • Total Documents

    The total number of objects discovered in the project.

  • Sensitive Documents

    The estimated number of documents that contain personally identifiable information (PII).

  • Total Size

    The size of the data discovered in the project.

  • Documents by Data Source (chart)

    A chart of the distribution of the number of objects discovered based on data sources.

  • Documents by Entity Type (chart)

    A chart of the distribution of the number of objects discovered that contain PII and the type of PII that they contain.

  • Documents by Location (chart)

    A map highlighting the geographic location of the documents in the project. Larger circles on the map indicate that a larger number of users are located there relative to other locations.
