Restoring an NFS Subclient of a Qumulo File Server

You can restore an NFS subclient of a Qumulo file server to a standalone file server.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > File servers.

    The Overview page appears.

  2. Click the file server.

    The file server page appears.

  3. Under Protocols, click NFS.

    The NFS Overview page appears.

  4. On the Subclients tab, in the row for the subclient, click the action button action_button, and then click Restore.

    The Backup Content page appears.

  5. Select the content that you want to restore, and then click Restore.

    The Restore options dialog box appears.

    Note

    Starting Qumulo Cluster version 4.3.0, mounting .snapshot is not supported using NFS v4. Therefore, NFS v4 ACLs might not be restored.

  6. From the Destination list, select the computer to restore the data to.

  7. If the destination client does not have access to the UNC path in the Destination Path box, then move the Impersonate user toggle key to the right, and then enter the user name and password required to access the UNC path.

  8. To overwrite the existing data, select the Unconditionally overwrite if it already exists check box.

  9. Optional: To receive an Email when the restore operation completes, select the When the job completes, notify me via email check box.

  10. Click Submit.
