Viewing Backup History of a Virtual Machine

You can view the backup history of a VM or instance, and then restore files from a specific backup job.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Virtualization.

2. On the Virtual machines tab, click a VM or instance:

3. On the Overview tab, in the Recovery point calendar, you can view completed backup jobs. These jobs are identified as dates outlined by a circle in the calendar.

4. To restore from a specific backup job, click the date in the calendar and then click Restore.

   • Restoring Guest Files and Folders for Azure

   • Restoring Guest Files and Folders for VMware
