Job Results Directory FAQ

How can I enable remote access rights for a user on the Exchange client?

To enable remote access rights for a user on the Exchange client, the user account must have Remote Access rights to the UNC path and the Exchange Administrator account specified in the Agent Properties dialog box must have Read/Write access permissions to the share used for job results.

Can I use a UNC path for Virtual Server client?

It is recommended that you use a local folder on the client computer as the Job Results Directory for the Virtual Server agent because the user impersonation account used for the job results directory takes precedence and is used to backup and restore data from a virtual machine. This may result in file access related issues during the backup.
