Additional settings are the way to manage registry keys for the Commvault software. You can use these settings to troubleshoot and perform other environment-specific configurations for Windows and UNIX client computers. You can manage the settings from the Command Center.
In the Command Center, under Manage > System, click the Settings tile to add both global settings and entity settings such as server settings. On the same Settings page, you can select to add CommCell, server group, or server settings.

To add and configure global settings such as FailedLoginAttemptLimit for logging on to the Command Center, use the CommCell settings. For more information, see CommCell Settings.

Use the server or server group settings to configure settings for specific servers or server groups. For more information, see Settings for Servers and Server Groups.
