For Azure Local support, you must install the VSA on all nodes in the Azure Local cluster.

Commvault software is supported with Azure Local versions 23H2, 22H2, 21H2, and 20H2.
Virtual Machine Operating Systems
You can back up virtual machines that have any of the guest operating systems that are supported by the Azure Local platform.
Notes on Virtual Server Agent Installations
The Virtual Server Agent is installed directly onto the Azure Local Server.
