Back up your file system data.
Important
When backing up Azure File Sync stubs in the configured backup path, the backup job reads the actual file data directly from the cloud tier and transfers it to the backup media without recalling the stub to local storage.
While the configured path is backed up completely, this behavior may result in increased Azure egress charges.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > File servers.
The Overview page appears.

Go to the File servers tab, and then click the file server.
The file server page appears.

Go to the Subclients tab.

In the Actions column for the subclient, click the action button
, and then click Backup.The Backup dialog box appears.

Under Backup options, select the backup type.

Optional: To receive Email and CommCell Console alert notifications when the backup operation completes, select the When the job completes, notify me via email check box.

Click Submit.

Optional: To view the job details, click View job details.
