Performing Hardware Refresh in the CSLiveSync Environment

You can perform hardware refresh in the CommServe LiveSync environment.

Procedure

1. Perform production failover to the passive node.

2. Disable the CommServe LiveSync feature.

3. Delete failover client group, CommServe Live Sync group, failover network topologies, and old CS instance002 client entries.

4. Perform hardware refresh on the old active node and install CommServe and CommServe failover package.

5. Enable the CommServe LiveSync feature.

6. Run the backup and replication job.

7. Perform production failover to the original node.
