Create Air Gap Protect storage to isolate your backup data in a secure, time-based container that prevents unauthorized access and deletion.
About storage containers
- When you create Air Gap Protect storage, the new storage has a single container (available on the Backup locations tab for the storage).
- When an Air Gap Protect container reaches 500 TB, it is marked as Full and Commvault automatically creates a new container for the storage.
- You can also manually create containers.
You can create Air Gap Protect storage in backup plans, or you can create it as follows and then select the storage for a backup copy in backup plans.
