You can add the storage virtual machines (SVM) on a Cluster-Mode physical NetApp file server. The SVMs are automatically added as arrays with tunneling enabled.
Before You Begin
-
A NAS client with a corresponding array entry must already be present for the cluster/physical file server.
-
The CommServe must be able to communicate with the array.
Procedure
-
From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Files.
The file servers Overview page appears.
-
On the Files tab, select the NAS file server with cluster mode.
The Overview page of the cluster client appears.
-
On the Storage virtual machines tab, click Add.
The Associate storage virtual machines dialog box appears.
-
From the Storage virtual machines list, select the storage virtual machines that you want to include in the cluster, and then click Save.
An entry for each storage virtual machines that you added is created in the Arrays page. Tunneling is enabled by default.
The storage virtual machines that you added for the cluster appear as deconfigured NAS clients.
