Before You Begin
Notes for Microsoft Windows Cluster:
-
Enabling the Optimized Block-Level Replication Filter feature on a cluster node installs the driver on all cluster nodes.
-
The driver installation on a cluster node is not attempted more than once, even if there were errors during the installation.
-
Until you reboot the cluster node, jobs continue to run in checksum mode.
Procedure
-
On the command line of the cluster node, type:
BLKWinSetup.exe -qsnap -op $[install] -path "$[C:Program FilesCommvaultContentStoreDriversqsnap2.inf]" -bmploc "$[C:Program FilesCommvaultContentStorebmp]"
where -path is the path to the Commvault software and -bmploc is the path to where the bitmap information is stored.
-
Reboot the cluster node.
