When the option to Create Virtual Machine after Live Sync is not selected in the replication configuration, a standard storage account must be used as the staging storage account.
Symptom
The replication job goes into a pending state with the following error:
Unable to save the configuration for virtual machine [Destination VM Name] in resource group [Destination Resource group name] for delayed deployment.
Cause
This issue occurs when the option to Create Virtual Machine after Live Sync is not selected in the replication configuration, and a premium storage account is used as the staging storage account.

When the option to Create Virtual Machine after Live Sync is not selected in the replication configuration, choose a standard storage account as the staging storage account.
