Symptom
While restoring files and folders from a virtual machine, the restore fails with the following error:
Volume name not found in the restore source path $[source_path], this is a volume restore.
Cause
This error appears when you have selected all files and folders in a virtual machine for the restore.
A file-level restore of the entire contents of a VM is not supported.
Resolution
If you want to restore the entire contents of a VM, perform a full VM restore.
