Changing the Owner of a Credential Entity

You can change the owner of a credential entity. Any user with Modify Credential permission can modify the credential entity.

Before You Begin

• Add a credential entity to Credential Manager.

  For information about adding a credential, see Adding a Credential to a Built-in Credential Vault.

• Verify that your user account has Modify Credential permission.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > Account > Security.

   The Security page appears.

2. Click the Credential vault tile.

   The Manage credentials page appears.

3. From the credentials list, select the credential entity that you want to change the owner for.

   The Edit credential dialog box appears.

4. Under Security, in the Owner box, select the user or the user group that you want to assign as the credential entity owner.

5. Click Save.
