From the AWS Marketplace, you can deploy a Commvault (Windows/Linux) MediaAgent by using the Commvault Media Agent Windows BYOL and Commvault Media Agent (Amazon Linux x86) BYOL listings. These images include the components that are required to support operations in a Commvault environment.

Starting with version 42.40, access node images and Media Agent images are CIS Level 1 hardened. For information, see Certifications and Compliance.
Considerations

If your CommServe system is a more recent release of Commvault than the MediaAgent, update the MediaAgent to the same feature release after deployment.

When you launch the instance, you must provide a key pair. You can use an existing key pair or create a new key pair as part of the deployment.
