Enabling Snapshots and Selecting a Snapshot Engine for Virtual Machines

To back up a virtual machine with snapshots, you must enable snapshots and select a snapshot engine.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Virtual machines.

   The Overview page appears.

2. On the VM groups tab, cick a VM group name.

3. Go to the Configuration tab.

4. On the Snapshot management tile, move the Enable snap backup toggle key to the right.

   The Snapshot management dialog box appears.

5. From the Engines list, select a snapshot engine, and then click Save.
