Restoring Messages to PST or MSG Files are applicable only to on-premises and self-managed deployments.

To protect Outlook, install Microsoft Outlook on the access node that runs the restore job.
If you want to restore messages to either PST files or MSG files, you must use Microsoft Office 2013 Service Pack 1 or higher and all 64-bit versions of Microsoft Outlook.
