Restoring Apache Hive Databases and Tables to Their Current Location (In Place)

You can restore the Hive databases and tables to their current location (in place).

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Big data.

   The Big data page appears.

2. Click the cluster that has the Hive app added.

   The cluster page appears.

3. Under Hadoop Apps, click Hive.

   The app page appears.

4. Click the Table groups tab.

5. Under Table groups, in the row for the subclient, click the action button , and then click Restore.

   The Backup content page appears.

6. Select the databases or tables to restore, and then click Restore.

   The Restore options dialog box appears.

7. Click Restore.
