Restoring a OneDrive for Business User Account to Its Original Location

You can restore an entire OneDrive account to the location that it was backed up from. File and folder permisssions will be reverted to how they were at the selected date and time.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Microsoft 365.

   The Microsoft 365 Overview page appears.

2. On the Apps tab, click the app.

   The Overview page of the app appears.

3. On the Users tab, select a user account, and then at the top area of the page, click Restore > Restore user.

   The Restore Options tool appears.

4. On the Date and Time tab, specify the Recovery point date and time and click Next.

   The Destination tab appears.

5. Leave Restore to original OneDrive accounts selected, and then click Next.

   The Review tab appears.

6. Review the items you selected for restore, and then click Next to start the restore operation.

   The Summary tab appears.

7. Click Close.
