Backing Up to Local Media by Using a Proxy Client Computer Having Cloud Apps Package

Create a subclient with the corresponding bucket as content and have a local computer as the proxy or access node.

Procedure

1. Create a virtual client to perform backup and restore operations. See Creating an Amazon S3 Virtual Client.

   Note

   Choose a local computer as the proxy client computer.

2. Create a subclient with the corresponding bucket as content. See Creating Subclients to Back Up Specific Objects or Buckets.
