Configuring the Selection of All Job Types for Backup Copy

Applies To: NDMP Agents and Virtual Server Agents

Selection rules are applicable for Backup Copy, NAS Snapshot Cataloging, Selective Snap Copy and Extended Retention of Snapshots.

For backup copy, apply the settings for creating backup copies from specific, scheduled IntelliSnap backups to all IntelliSnap backup types.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Policies > Storage Policies.

2. Right-click the storage_policy, and then click Properties.

   The Storage Policy Properties dialog box appears.

3. On the Snapshot tab, select the Full, Incremental, Differential Snap Backup Jobs check box.

   A message appears that says this option affects the Extended Retention job selection.

4. Click OK.
